As soon as the combine leaves the field, disc harrows take over. Their angled concave blades slice straw and stubble, mix it into the top few inches and get the seedbed ready. Since they tolerate high working speeds, they cover a lot of FS25 acreage per hour.

Compact discs and heavy offset harrows

  • Compact disc harrows: Short-frame machines such as the Lemken Heliodor 9/600, the Väderstad Carrier 820, the Horsch Joker 6 RT or the Kverneland Qualidisc Pro 6001T.
  • North American style: Wide multi-section folding discs like the Sunflower 4710, the Summers DT2510 or the John Deere 2623.
  • Combinations: The Pöttinger Terradisc 3001 with a cover crop seeder handles stubble tillage and seeding in one pass.
  • Small farms: Discs with a working width of 1.6 or 3 meters and a vineyard disc for narrow rows.
