Forage Wagons

Mow, rake, bring it home. Anyone who wants to harvest grass without a chopper or a baler turns to the forage wagon. It lifts the windrow with its own pickup, cuts the crop at the rotor and hauls it to the clamp or hay barn, a one-person answer to forage harvesting in FS25.

From rotor loader wagon to dual-purpose wagon

Smaller units such as the Krone AX250L, Pöttinger EuroProfi or Strautmann Vitesse 2000 fit grassland farms with mid-size tractors and short hauls. At the top end sit the Krone ZX 470 GD, Strautmann Magnon 530, Schuitemaker Rapide 3000 and Bergmann Shuttle 490 S. Many are dual-purpose: discharge beaters lay an even mat on the bunker silo, and with the pickup idle they haul chopped corn. The same goes for the Claas Cargos 8500 and 9500 and the Fendt Tigo. Vintage fans get the Mengele Rotant 743. A few feed mixer wagons and grape harvest trailers are filed here too.

Forage boxes without a pickup are under silage trailers. To bale the crop instead, see the balers section; the full overview is under trailers.
