With this mod, FREIGHT trains are often long (35-99 wagons). Some are mixed freight; some are unit. Many trains are Multiple-Unit (i.e., multiple locomotives), and most have FREDs.

(now works with Drive Safely's "Sound Fixes Pack")

CAUTION: When very long trains appear (50+), hardware resources can be taxed (fps drops significantly). If that happens, check your game's root config.cfg; set "uset g_lod_factor_traffic "1.0"". If it still stutters badly, use the sister mod:
