This mod adjusts your net in-game income to realistic values. As an employed driver, your monthly earnings become 1500–3000 €. As an owner-operator, you will earn between 1500 and 7500 € per month. The mod is balanced to give you an average income of about 4500 € per month, excluding toll roads and ferry fares – in real life, owner-operators usually avoid such routes. Hired drivers bring in approximately 1500–4500 € per month. Buying your first used truck (or paying off its loan) will take about 200 hours of real time.
Completely Rewritten Economy:
All 404 cargoes in the game, including DLC, were manually rebalanced, recreating a real-world system for evaluating delivery costs. The payment for a trip depends on the fuel that will be consumed for the delivery.
Additional Adjustments:
• Skill influence reduced to realistic values (e.g., level 100 now gives only a 5 % payment bonus instead of 150 %).
• Base freight rates for cargo without skill requirements have been increased for added realism.
• Driving time without rest limited to 8 hours per day, with 16 hours of rest required.
• Delivery deadlines adjusted accordingly – you must find a balance between speed and fuel economy.
• Garage purchase replaced with shared access costing 8,000 €, upgrades cost 1,000 €.
• Banking system overhauled with realistic loan terms, interest rates, and maximum loan limits.
• Realistic time-based tire wear, a realistic truck dealer, and a police system.
