Reefer Trailer Sound Addon

Hear the seamless white noise of a reefer trailer! This mod adds the definition files to activate the reefer sounds from the Sound Fixes Pack for refrigerated trailers by SCS Software. It requires the Sound Fixes Pack and should be set to a high priority in the Mod Manager. How it works: After coupling the trailer, a beep sounds and the reefer engine starts up. The reefer keeps running while you drive, and you can hear its hum from inside the truck cabin. The reefer engine sound may vary depending on the trailer. The sound event stops after decoupling the trailer. Fully supported trailers:

• Base game reefer trailers
• Schwarzmüller Trailer Pack DLC reefer trailers
• Krone Trailer Pack DLC Cool Liner
• TIRSAN Trailer Pack DLC SRI trailers
• Schmitz Cargobull Trailer Pack DLC S.KO Cool trailers
• Kögel Trailer Pack DLC Cool trailers

Compatibility: Freight Market and External Contracts are confirmed to work. Quick Jobs can work, but you may need to disconnect and reconnect the trailer. Ownable trailers work with supported DLC trailers. For unsupported reefer trailers, there is a workaround using the voice navigation menu. Important notes: Other road/trailer tire sound mods must be disabled. The reefer sound volume is controlled by the Trailer Noise slider (recommended: 50%). On some roads without tire sound support, the reefer sound may not play – driving off-road onto grass or gravel usually restores the sound loop. Required: Sound Fixes Pack
