Subsoilers

Heavy harvesters and loaded grain carts leave compaction that an ordinary cultivator never reaches. A subsoiler shatters those layers with a few strong shanks and does it without inverting the soil. That makes it the FS25 alternative to plowing, provided the tractor in front has enough pull.

Subsoilers, chisel plows and in-line rippers

North American iron includes the DMI Tiger II, the Landoll 2500 In-Line Ripper, the Unverferth Zone Builder 132 and the John Deere 1600 and 1610 chisel plows. European designs are represented by the Horsch Tiger 6DT, the Agro-Lift Type-G and several Gascon models with three to seven legs. Sugarcane growers get South American specialty tools, for instance from Stara and São José. Packs from Bomet and Lizard add a choice of working widths. Read the power requirement in the mod description, because the number of shanks decides which tractor belongs in front.

For inversion tillage, go to the plows. Shallow stubble work is a job for disc harrows, and every equipment group is listed under implements.
