Branches and residual wood become wood chips: FS25 wood chippers turn cut timber into usable material. The range includes well-known makers such as Heizomat, Jenz, Vermeer, Peterson and Bruks, as well as models from Doppstadt and Albach.

Types and use

• Trailed chippers: Like the Heizomat HM 8-400, hitched behind a tractor.
• Large Jenz chippers: Models such as the HEM 583 or the HEM 922 DQ Cobra Hybrid for professional use.
• Grinders: Horizontal shredders like the Peterson 5710 or the Beaverator tub grinder.
• Packs: Swap bodies and platforms for chippers.

Besides mobile units, there are bodies you mount on swap platforms. That allows flexible use between forest, farm and heating plant. The right prime mover matters: larger chippers need strong tractors or trucks, while smaller models get by with less pulling power.
