Seilwinden

Recovering logs on a slope without driving in: FS25 forestry winches are a classic tool of woodland work. The selection includes forestry winches from Tajfun, Uniforest, Tiger, Hofman and Lizard, plus models like the Ritter D60 and Krpan.

Designs

• Rear mounted: Winches with a hitch, such as the Tajfun EGV 80 AHK.
• Double winches: Two drums for more pulling power, for instance the Uniforest 2x90GKX.
• Attachments: Winches for a tractor or an Unimog.
• Vintage: Classic winches for period-style operations.

You can choose attachments, trailer versions and double winches, depending on your stand. Many winches come from well-known forestry makers and mount on a tractor, while others are standalone units used along the skid trail.

For large-scale harvesting, see Harvesters & Forwarders, and to process the wood, a Wood Chipper. The parent category is Forestry.
