Animal Husbandry Control
The Animal Husbandry Control mod allows you to independently adjust consumption and production rates for various animal groups. It adds a dedicated settings window, displaying only the animal groups present in your current save. If no animals are present, the window remains blank with a message indicating the absence of animals to configure.
By default, the mod is turned off. Once animals are purchased, a general settings block appears, enabling you to activate the mod and, if required, enable Debug mode.
Features:
- Separate consumption settings for different animal groups.
- Individual product settings for milk, wool, eggs, manure, and slurry.
- Dynamic display of available animals only.
- Support for mixed groups: Cows/Buffalos, Sheep/Goats.
- Separate blocks for single groups: Cows, Buffaloes, Sheep, Goats, Pigs, Chickens, Horses.
- Apply and reset buttons for each block.
- Settings are saved for the current save.
Example values:
- 50%: consumption or production is halved.
- 100%: standard game value.
- 200%: consumption or production is doubled.
- 500%: consumption or production is increased fivefold.
Management:
By default, the mod window opens with the F12 key, which can be changed in the game control settings. Removing a key binding hides the control bar in the F1 tooltip, preventing the window from opening with the old key.
General settings:
- Livestock control: toggles the mod on or off.
- Debug: includes additional log messages to verify settings application.
Disabling livestock control resets values to default and hides animal blocks.
Console commands:
- ahcValidateRates: checks individual multiplier applications for animal groups. It compares game default values with mod values, checks consumption and production for active livestock buildings, and restores original settings. A report is saved in the current save folder.
- ahcFillAllTroughs: a test utility command that fills feeders and resources at livestock buildings. It is intended for test conditions and not recommended for regular gameplay.
Important: The current version is marked as BETA. While main tests were successful, occasional freezes may occur when opening the window, activating the mod, or applying/resetting values. This is due to the dynamic system checking available animals and livestock buildings in the save.
Compatibility:
The mod is designed for standard Farming Simulator 25 animal systems and should work with maps and mods using the game's standard animal system. However, it may not detect or display parameters for custom animal systems.
