Aussie Fence Building Set

The Aussie Fence Building Set lets you construct your own Australian-style Colorbond fences from the ground up. The detailed building process includes planning the fence line, drilling post holes, setting posts in concrete, and fitting rails and fence panels.

Requirements

This mod requires content from Jamo Modding Tools and Jamo Modding Pallets.

• Rail sets for the upper and lower fence sections

You will also need your own water tank trailer filled with water. One pallet of cement and 20 liters of water are enough for three concrete batches. Concrete takes 60 in-game minutes to cure.

Building guide

1. Open the construction menu under JAMO MODS → Placeable Objects and place a fence starting stake.
2. Press R to begin planning, then place another stake at every corner and at the final endpoint. Sections automatically align to 2.4 meters. Complete the plan with Ctrl + Enter.
3. When needed, attach a string line between planned points using the string-line reel.
4. Drill the marked post positions and collect the excavated soil with a suitable loader or loader bucket.
5. Collect posts from the pallet, place them into the holes, and secure them using concrete mixed from one cement sack and 20 liters of water.
6. Once the concrete has cured, fit the lower rails, mount the individual fence sheets, and finally attach the upper rails.

Controls

• R: Interact, collect or return materials, and start work
• Ctrl + Enter: Finish the planned fence line
• Ctrl + Backspace: Undo the last corner point
• Ctrl + Delete: Discard the current plan
• Ctrl + X: Switch between build and dismantle mode near a fence
• Ctrl + R: Collect or return materials near the original starting point
• W/A/S/D: Move the wheelbarrow
• C: Change the camera perspective

Important notes: Unfinished planning drafts are only temporary and should be completed before saving. Stay on foot and close to the relevant component while working. Carry only one material item at a time and return it to its pallet after use.
