Build Guide Lines

This script adds precise construction guide lines to the build menu, helping you align buildings, decorations, production facilities and fences – without altering the normal placement system.

Features:

• Single straight guide lines
• Parallel guide lines with fixed spacing
• Exact 90° and 45° arrangements
• Available lengths: 25 m, 50 m, 100 m and 200 m
• Parallel spacing: 1 m, 2 m, 3 m, 4 m, 5 m, 10 m and 20 m
• Four selectable colors: Red, Green, Blue and Yellow
• Smooth angle snapping in 5° increments
• Snapping to building and object edges, intersecting guide lines, and fence posts and segments
• Local save for persistent storage
• Supports singleplayer, multiplayer and dedicated servers
• Compatible with standard maps and most mod maps

Controls:

• Left Ctrl + 1: Change guide line color
• Left Ctrl + 2: Toggle snapping on/off
• Left Ctrl + 3: Delete last guide line
• Left Ctrl + 4: Delete all guide lines

Key bindings can be customized in the game's control settings.

Multiplayer: Guide lines are fully private and client-side. Each player manages their own lines; regular buildings, objects and fences continue to sync normally. The mod must be activated on the server and installed by every joining player.

Notes: The mod does not bypass any land ownership restrictions; collision checks and normal placement rules remain active. Already placed buildings and fences will not be moved.
