Welcome to Birkental – a varied and freely designable farming map where you can build your farm entirely according to your own ideas.
Fields & Forests:
The map offers 28 fields and 14 fellable forest areas. Many fields can be expanded or merged by clearing forests and edge trees. You can also create additional barn facilities or pasture areas this way – just grab the chainsaw and make room for your ideas!
Multi-fruit:
Numerous crops are available, including alfalfa, buckwheat, clover, edamame, field grass, hemp, lavender, flax, mustard, okra, peanuts, poppy, rye, spelt, triticale, taro, tobacco, spring wheat, winter wheat, and winter barley.
Special Harvest Equipment:
The corresponding harvest machines for taro, peanuts, and lavender are directly integrated into the map – no additional mod required.
Special Feature: Taro:
Taro can only be grown on rice fields. Important: The rice field must not be flooded at sowing. Only one day after sowing, once the first plants are visible, the field can be flooded and must be watered daily until taro is ready for harvest.
Production & Processing:
Bakery, carpentry, sawmill, paper factory, delicatessen factory, large mill, heating power plant, jam factory, juice factory, biogas plant, and tobacco factory are all available. The production chains are extensive – factories require electricity, and packaging materials such as paper and cardboard must also be produced.
Garden & Vegetables:
An open garden provides space for peppers, pumpkins, watermelons, and cucumbers. Several greenhouses are also available for purchase in Birkenbach.
Orchards:
Apples, plums, apricots, cherries, and peaches can be grown in your own plantations. Wooden baskets from the carpenter are required for operation.
Selling Points:
EDEKA, farmers market, grain sale, bale sale at the livestock dealer, and a train offer various selling options for your goods.
Power Generation:
Plays a central role – biogas plant, heating power plant, placeable solar collectors, and solar fields are all available.
Roller Coaster:
As a special placeable object, you can build a roller coaster wherever you like and make your farm truly unique.
Your Farm – You Decide:
There is intentionally no predefined starting farm. At the start, you have a farmhouse, two open gardens, and a few fruit trees available. Design your farm to your liking – small and cozy or a large agricultural complex. Have fun on Birkental!
