Capacity Upgrade adds a „Capacity" configuration row to every vehicle that actually carries something worth carrying. Pick it when buying the machine, or change it later in the workshop.

Seven levels: Stock / +25% / +50% / +100% / +150% / +200% / +500%. Each level costs a small share of the vehicle's own price – going all the way to the top adds only around 4% to the sticker price.

Only the capacity that truly matters is modified. Crop tanks, seed hoppers, sprayer and slurry tanks, mixer drums and auger wagons are upgraded; diesel, DEF and air tanks are never touched. That is why tractors show no row at all, and balers don't either.

The load's weight grows exactly as it always did up to the original capacity, then stops. A half-full trailer still feels like a half-full trailer, and a machine loaded past stock capacity never gets heavier – so an upgraded vehicle stays driveable instead of dragging ridiculous weights around, without losing the feel of empty vs. full.

Purchased goods count too: seed, fertiliser, lime and animal feed big bags, liquid fertiliser and herbicide IBCs, mineral feed, silage additive, liquid seed treatment, as well as pallets of seed potatoes, sugar cane, poplars, tree saplings and rice saplings. A big bag can be bought at any level, priced by its contents (a six-times bag costs six times the price).

A tree planter, which carries nothing of its own and feeds straight from the pallet it holds, goes far further on a single load, and the rice planter's seedling trays grow accordingly as well.

Because this is a real vehicle configuration, shop prices, workshop prices, savegame storage and multiplayer sync are all handled by the game itself.
