Capacity Upgrade
Adds a "Capacity" configuration option to every vehicle that carries a meaningful amount of cargo. Select it directly when purchasing or change it later in the workshop. No duplicate machines in the shop, full compatibility with modded vehicles.
Choose from seven levels: Stock / +25% / +50% / +100% / +150% / +200% / +500%. Each level costs a fraction of the vehicle's price – even the highest tier adds only 4% to the base price.
Only the capacity that truly matters is modified: crop, seed, spray, and slurry tanks, mixing containers, and transfer trailers are enlarged, while diesel, AdBlue, and air tanks are left untouched. As a result, tractors and balers do not receive a capacity option.
Cargo weight increases up to the original capacity as usual and then stays constant. A half-full trailer still feels like a half-full trailer – the vehicle remains fully drivable without losing the distinction between empty and loaded.
Purchased goods are also scaled up: big bags of seed, fertilizer, lime, and animal feed, IBCs of liquid fertilizer and herbicide, mineral feed, silage additive, liquid seed treatment, and pallets of seed potatoes, sugar cane, poplar, tree, and rice seedlings. A package can be bought at any level and always arrives full. The tree planter and rice planting machine also benefit from the upgraded capacities.
Since this is a proper vehicle configuration, the game itself handles pricing, savegame compatibility, and multiplayer synchronization.
