Case IH CVX Series

The Case IH CVX series, also known as CVT at Steyr, originates from the CS tractor series. Manufactured between 2000 and 2011, these tractors were assembled in St. Valentin, Austria. They feature a Sisu 620 6-cylinder turbo engine with a 6.6-liter displacement, powering a continuously variable transmission developed by a Steyr-ZF joint venture. The APM (automatic engine speed management) system optimizes fuel consumption, making the CVX series renowned for its efficiency. Communication between components is managed via Bus-Can networks.
The tractor can be equipped with a suspended Carraro front axle, a Zuidberg front linkage, and a 1000 rpm front power take-off. An optional engine brake control enhances safety on steep slopes. In 2003, the speed ranges increased from 2 to 3.
Available configurations include front loaders (Quicke, mp-lift, hauer, MX, Stoll), tags (left, right, both) with 9 different types, various monitors, GPS (autoguide, Matrix), and Isaria Pro Compact for Precision Farming. The tractor is available in all basic colors, priced at €80,000, and has a top speed of 53 km/h. Engine configurations range from 120 hp to 225 hp.
