Chornberg – Swiss Agriculture Between Mountains and Valleys

Welcome to Chornberg, a highly detailed map based on a real Swiss region. Large sections of the road network, field layouts, and landscape have been modeled after the original, conveying the typical feeling of farming in the Alps and Pre-Alps.

The map offers 91 fields ranging from 1.5 to 6 hectares. Thanks to its pronounced elevation model with steep slopes, narrow roads, and challenging access roads, Chornberg is particularly well-suited for powerful tractors or tracked vehicles. Anyone seeking the challenge of mountainous farming will find it here.

Crops & Cultivation
In addition to classic crops, numerous specialty crops await you. Grape and olive groves, as well as a hop field, are already integrated into the map. Additional available crops include rye, triticale, spelt, tobacco, sesame, peanuts, lavender, buckwheat, mint, hops, and white grapes.

Fruit Growing
Fruit cultivation plays a major role – manage apple, cherry, plum, apricot, and peach orchards and process the harvest in the map's numerous production facilities.

Animal Husbandry
For animal lovers, Chornberg offers extensive options including cattle breeding, chicken breeding, and a combined sheep and goat operation. Geese, ducks, and rabbits have also been added for even more variety on your farm.

A major focus is on production. Numerous businesses enable extensive production chains:

All production facilities have been expanded and now require electricity, empty pallets, and packaging materials such as paper or cardboard in addition to standard raw materials. Electricity can be supplied via a biogas plant (BGA), a combined heat and power plant, or placeable solar panels. A complete greenhouse yard is also available for gardening and fruit-growing enthusiasts. Compost is essential to ensure your plantations and greenhouses reach their full potential.

Feed & Composting
The animal feed system has been significantly expanded. In addition to standard feeds, CCM (corn cob mix), protein meal, and grain meal are now available. A dedicated grain mill handles corn meal production. The corn silage (CCM) needed for feed is produced from the corresponding raw material, which must first be ensiled in a drive-over silo. A large composting facility with a total of six drive-over silos – three for compost production and three for CCM ensiling – completes the production system.

Chornberg combines authentic Swiss agriculture with modern production chains, expanded fruit and vegetable cultivation, diverse animal husbandry, and challenging terrain. The map is aimed at players who love realistic agriculture, complex economic cycles, and challenging mountain landscapes.

AD courses are integrated into the map. On first launch, when Autodrive asks if it should create courses, click "No" so the courses will be loaded. Suitable harvesters for lavender, hops, white grapes, and peanuts are available on the map.
