FS15 CoursePlay Editor:
Allows you to edit visually on the map courseplay courses, and save it to the correspondent savegame courseplay.xml file
HISTORY:
We have been more than two years coding and developing courseplay Editor.
Initially, courseplay editor was developed by Papowk, transferred to the community for free edition and Horoman adjust it to FS13. By that time Satis starts a different programming approach and define how the program should be.
We have taken the job and made the initial editor to get the features foresaw by Satis. Thank you man.
All this time I have had in my head, editing is ok but sharing is more important, then we decide to orientate the program to develop a free space to share our creations with courseplay.
At this time, we are lucky now that Modding Central and ABC Game Server have allowed us to create the courseplay courses repository in this portal where we can promote to share courseplay courses between members. That was the dream I had. Thank you guys.
HOW?
If you want to start the editor, you have to be a member of Modding Central. Then, you will be able to save as author in the repository for the download and use by other members. This program will only be installed properly if you are connected to internet, to check your modcentral credentials.
Unzip the file and run the exe file.
Say it is a confident source in case you are asked for it.
Initial start-up take some time, be patient.
Then you will receive the FS15 mod manger pro welcome screen
with a new line to connect to courseplay community
After you will be ready to register and introduce ModCentral credentials
and check for stay logged in for remembering you in future times.
Then, if everything works correct,
you will receive CoursePlay Editor Welcome screen
We have also open for you a Logged Modcentral session
where share your creations and download from others.
Select a map save game from the list.
REMEMBER:
The map has to be in zip format in the mod folder
or profile selected for FS15.
Otherwise, you will receive a message "Map Zip File not found"
And start edits in your map
Do not forget to save your changes before closing or you will lost them
Some tips and tricks you must know:
- When modifying courses, display only a few courses to have clear view in selection process.
- Take in account the distortion of the map picture in nonstandard maps. Courses appears displaced from roads
- Create cross WP and after saving, use the ingame courseplay to merge different courses and then add, edit and delete excess WP back in the CPEditor
- If you add WP with the fill tool, set the speed correctly before filling. You get that speed in all WP
- Selecting other maps in savegame selector can produce crashes of the program (Only Steam). Just restart it.
- Some maps cannot be edited. (PDA and Dem are not found)
- There is no step back in actions. Save regularly your editions.
- The maximum zoom is set to maximum of 300, more zoom makes flicking the image when editing
- The course folder data is read only; you have to modify manually with your xml editor.
- You can add manually courses or pieces of them manually in the xml and the visually edit the results.
- Avoid the use of the recalculation angles function. We couldn't test properly and some review could be needed.

Kann mir mal bitte jemand helfen? seit dem ich den CoursePlay Editor Mod Manager Pro insterlirt und geöfnent habe Laden die mods im mod ordner nicht mehr. Ich bitte um Hilfe.
Jeder der den "alten" CourseDrawer kennt, wird anhand der Bilder sofort erkennen das hier eine der letzten Versionen dieses Programms (welches ursprünglich auf GitHub veröffentlicht wurde) mit einem ModManager zusammengewürfelt wurde. Das Hauptprogramm ist aber wohl der ModManager. Schaut man sich diesen Download hier mal genauer an, dann sieht man von einem Courseplay-Editor erstmal gar nichts. Allerdings werden laut der Homepage des Modders temporäre Dateien in Eurem Appdata\Local\temp-Ordner angelegt. Hier sind dann vermutlich die eigentlichen Programm-Codes des Courseplay-Editors hinterlegt. Ich bin einer der glücklichen User, die sich in weißer Voraussicht diverse Versionen des Original-Programms gespeichert und mehrfach gesichert haben. Somit bearbeite ich meine Kurse offline. Ich will dieses Programm hier bestimmt nicht schlecht machen, aber jedesmal erst bei "Modding Central" anmelden, wenn ich ein paar zusätzliche Wegpunkte für engere Kurven beim Start eines eingefahrenen Kurses einfügen will, ist nicht mein Ding. (Wer nicht weiß, von was ich hier rede: Beim einfahren eines Kurses muss man eigentlich erst mal mindestens 2 Wegpunkte geradeaus fahren, bevor man eine schöne Kurve machen kann. Dieses Problem kann man nachträglich durch einfügen zusätzlicher Wegpunkte mit dem "alten" CourseDrawer beheben!) Obwohl ich den Mod/das Programm jetzt nicht live getestet habe gebe ich trotzdem 4 Sterne, weil sich jemand die Mühe macht und den CourseDrawer nicht untergehen läßt. Gruß omegaMV6
Nö, wozu muss ich extra online gehen um einen CP- Kurs zu korrigieren? Ausserdem mauelt Avira rum da sei ein Dropper drin. Also bitte mal eine offline Version ohne Malware.
Ick wünsche mir den alten Courseplay Editor zurück der hatte nur ein Fehler das er nur für Normale Maps war ansonsten war der supi, wenn es den für 4fach maps gäbe . Dieser hier wo ick mich noch irgendwo anmelden muss, für mich ...NEIN Danke Die Idee mag ja gut sein .
Wäre wirklich allergeilst - so ein Tool, wenn ich aber höre, das ich mich mit einem fremden Server connecten muss dazu, lade ich es garnicht erst herunter - Lockys, Zeptos und wie Sie alle heißen lassen grüßen
Ich habe ihn auch ausprobiert. Ist eigendlich ganz OK. Nur wie SchorschiBW schon sagte wenn die PDA-Map nicht passt funzt das auch nicht. Auch das ganze reinnd rauszoomen wenn man einen langen Kurs fahren will und dabei die Wegpunkte setzen soll ist nervig. Auch das ich ständig mit ne Server verbunden bin. Wie gut das es da noch ne Alternative gibt. Ne anderen (offline) benutzen oder sich mal wieder selber hinters Steuer setzen. kurz um. Gute Idee. nur nicht gut umgesetzt und zu umständich in der Nutzung. 2 von 5 Sterne.
Alles hat mal einen Anfang und alleine die Idee ist 5 Sterne wert. Ich hoffe das diese Version nicht die letzte ist und wir dieses Tool im neuen LS auch nutzen können. Das CoursePlay war auch nicht perfekt am Anfang! Allerdings ist es möglich mit dem verbinden auf ihre Server den eigenen PC auszulesen zumindest das sammeln von Daten bezüglich meiner Spielgewohnheiten vom LS ist zu 100% gegeben, was mir aber völlig egal ist.
Die Idee als Solches ist ja ganz in Ordnung. Aber Mitglied in einem Forum sein, nur damit das Programm läuft? Ganz sicher nicht.... Und wenn die PDA-Map einmal nicht 100 prozentig passt, fährt Courselay überall, nur nicht dort, wo er soll. Da fahre ich meine Kurse doch lieber selber ein. Für die Idee gibt es 2 Sterne, leider überzeugt mich das Ganze nicht, snst wären es mehr geworden
Leider ist dasselbe bei mir auch Avira lässt den Mod nicht durch ausserdem ist dieser Mod keine Win32 Anwendung! Ich weiß auch nicht warum Mods hochgeladen werden die nicht getestet wurden,schade um Modhoster da immer mehr Schund angeboten wird
Nicht digital signiert ist es uns durch Antiviren wie Avira vermuten, aber ich kann Ihnen versichern, dass das Programm vollständig sicher ist.
Avira schlägt bei mir leider schon direkt nach dem Entpacken zu und schiebt den Courseplay-Editor in Quarantäne, so dass ich Ihn nicht nutzen kann. Ich hoffe das kann zügig gefixt werden.
