This mod finally brings realistic dynamics to the PTO. Instead of a fixed PTO speed, the operating speed of all attached implements adjusts directly to the tractor’s current engine speed. The higher the engine speed, the faster mowers, choppers, balers, or conveyor belts run. Key Features The PTO speed is no longer fixed but is calculated in real time based on the engine RPM. Implements react noticeably differently to low, medium, or high RPMs. A multiplier per implement allows for individual settings for each piece of equipment. Realistic operating speeds: Low speed → slow operation Medium speed → normal operation High speed → fast operation Technical Implementation The mod is fully LS25-compatible and uses its own scripts to link engine RPM, PTO RPM, and implement behavior. Animations, effects, and working speed are dynamically adjusted. Both vehicles and implements are extended via hooks in their update functions. Implement Behavior Mowers rotate faster and respond more directly to the throttle. Choppers operate with more power at high RPM. Bales work more efficiently and process material faster. Conveyor belts transport material based on engine RPM. Each implement can be fine-tuned using its own factor. Mod Contents Complete mod structure with modDesc and Lua scripts Sample equipment XML with dynamic PTO configuration Optional overlay to display the current PTO RPM Goal of the Mod “Dynamic PTO Speed” provides a significantly more realistic gaming experience. PTO power finally depends on engine RPM—the higher the RPM, the faster you work. As a result, all implements operate more naturally, with greater variability, and more closely resemble real-world farming. Important: The mod is not currently multiplayer-compatible. We are working on a version that can also be used in multiplayer.
