Advanced Bank System

This script fully replaces the base game's finance and loan system: every vanilla loan is automatically cancelled and refunded, and all borrowing is handled through the mod's own bank. A dedicated tabbed page is added to the in-game pause menu. There is no overall loan limit, except at the lowest credit rating tier. Interest is calculated from a base market rate plus a risk premium tied to a dynamic 6-tier credit rating (D to AAA). Your rating drops a tier with every default and climbs back up a tier each time you fully pay off a loan. Every loan has its own locked-in monthly installment and payment hour. While you have an overdue installment on any loan, no new loan will be granted. A missed payment triggers a warning, and if it remains unpaid, a vehicle or implement is seized every following month until the arrears are settled. The most valuable eligible asset is seized into a hidden virtual warehouse and returned to the shop parking area once you settle the debt. The last usable motorized vehicle is never seized. The mod also includes an investment module with three risk profiles tied to a simulated market cycle.
