Mouse Driving & Walking

Control vehicles and characters directly with the mouse. The mod works like a virtual joystick: mouse movement stays on the current axis until it is returned to the center. Mouse control is disabled when the game starts.

• Driving: Move the mouse up to accelerate, down to brake or reverse, and sideways to steer.
• On foot: Move the mouse up to walk forward; move it further to run. Move it down to walk backward and sideways to turn the character.
• Separate controls: Ctrl+Shift+M toggles vehicle control, while Ctrl+Shift+N toggles character control.
• Camera and options: Hold the left Alt key to use the camera, and press F7 to open the settings.

Separate vehicle and character settings include sensitivity, deadzone, linearity, smoothing, axis inversion, run threshold, rotation speed, HUD, remembered vehicles and automatic transmission. Open them under Options → Settings → Mouse Driving or directly with F7.

The mod supports singleplayer and multiplayer. Place the ZIP file unchanged into your mods folder. In multiplayer, every player on the server needs the same ZIP file.
