Farm Mechanic: Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

Farm Mechanic adds a detailed maintenance and repair system for vehicles, trailers, and implements. Regular servicing now matters, as neglected machines can develop mechanical problems.

Main Features

• Mechanical failures: Engines, brakes, hydraulics, and wheels each have their own maintenance and failure systems.
• Maintenance warnings: A yellow wrench warns you when servicing is due. After the warning, you have three actual working hours to service the machine before the issue becomes more serious.
• Tire punctures: Vehicles, trailers, and implements can suffer punctures. Driving on a flat tire reduces your speed and can damage the rim if left unattended.
• Interactive Mechanic Tablet: Stand in front of a machine and press R to inspect its condition, maintenance status, required parts, and available repairs.
• Parts Shop: Order engine parts, oils, hydraulic components, brake parts, wheel kits, and inner tubes directly through the tablet.
• Orders and Storage: Choose between fast delivery or cheaper orders with longer waiting times. Parts are stored in your virtual workshop and may lose quality if kept for too long.
• Real Repair Times: Repairs take actual time. Field repairs are slower, while working near a compatible farm workshop reduces repair time.
• Oil Changes: Engine and hydraulic oil have separate service intervals based on the machine's age and actual working hours.
• Vehicle Reliability: Older and heavily used machines become less reliable. Farm Mechanic can also integrate with the AgroDeal reliability system when available.
• Persistent System: Maintenance, failures, punctures, stored parts, orders, and repairs are saved with your game.
• Multilingual Interface: The interface automatically uses the language selected in the game.

• Mouse: Navigate and interact with the tablet
• ESC / X: Close the tablet
