Farm Radios & Proximity Voice Chat

This mod expands multiplayer farming with functional radio communication, a clear transmission display, and matching character animations.

• Local: Contact members of your own farm regardless of distance.
• Repeater: Communicate with players on neighboring farms as well as your own farm.
• Proximity voice: Talk with nearby players using the standard push-to-talk control or voice-activated transmission.

Installation and setup

• Install and enable the same mod version on the multiplayer host and all participating players.
• Enable voice chat in the game and check your microphone settings.
• Join a farm to access the Local and Repeater channels.

Controls

• Local: Hold the comma key.
• Repeater: Hold the forward slash key.
• Both controls can be reassigned independently under Settings → Controls → Player, separate from the normal voice-chat control.

Radio display

The compact display shows transmissions, speakers, your farm, and the active color. Local appears in your farm color, while Repeater appears in red. Existing mute, block, and microphone settings remain respected.

Radio channels are available only to players assigned to a farm. The included voice-volume boost is experimental, so the audible result may vary between systems.
