Forestry Helper

The Forestry Helper mod provides essential information for managing logs, assisting with cutting to specified lengths or weights. Utilize the hotkeys in the F1 menu to toggle between length and weight modes, and to set your target length or weight. While length mode offers precision, weight mode provides an approximation and is unavailable in multiplayer. The chainsaw will automatically align to the indicated position within 20cm, though manual angle adjustment is necessary. The help window offers guidance on the value of felling or further cutting a tree. Achieving maximum quality (120%) in the base game requires a near-perfect frustum of a cone, 6-11m in length, without branches. Maximum quality may not always be achievable. Realism players can add a length buffer in the settings. Compatible with the Lumberjack mod.
