This mod introduces realistic equipment maintenance: machines need to be greased, wear out during use, can break down if neglected, and must be repaired with spare parts, time and money. It works automatically with every towed or non-motorized implement from the base game or other mods – no configuration required.
🛢️ Realistic Lubrication
Use a grease gun with standard or high-quality lithium EP2 grease. High-quality grease extends lubrication intervals. Greasing is based on actual working hours, and prolonged storage may also require lubrication before the machine is put back into service. ⚙️ System-Based Wear
Four independent systems are simulated: wearing parts, bearings and gears, hydraulic circuits, and wheels and tires. Each system has its own lifespan. Wear increases during operation and accelerates when the machine is dirty or overdue for greasing. Condition also affects standard machine wear and resale value. 💥 Realistic Failures
Machines can suffer minor, major, or critical breakdowns. Depending on the affected component, an implement may stop working entirely, refuse to lower or fold out, operate at reduced speed, or break down completely. The greater the wear, the higher the risk of failure. 🧰 Field Repairs
A toolbox allows temporary emergency repairs of major breakdowns directly in the field, so you can keep working with limited functionality. Critical failures require a workshop. 🏭 Your Own Workshop
Place a workbench with a maintenance area on your farm to run diagnostics and perform repairs. Repairs can be carried out using the standard or the faster express service and take anywhere from a few hours to several days. 🔩 Physical Spare Parts
Diagnostics display the operating hours, the wear of all four systems, and the required spare parts. Physical kits for wearing parts, bearings, hydraulics, or tires are needed for maintenance. A full maintenance history is stored for each machine. 🏷️ OEM or Aftermarket Parts
Spare parts are available as OEM or aftermarket components. Aftermarket parts are cheaper but have a shorter lifespan and may carry a higher risk of premature failure. 🖥️ Supplier Portal
Use the ordering computer to purchase spare parts in your chosen quality and quantity. Delivery takes several days and arrives physically for use in your workshop. Compatible with: Multiplayer, Dedicated Server, Agricultural Financial System (GN Realism)
Supported languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Italian
