Headland management for tractors, field sprayers, mowers, and harvesters.
With headland management, vehicle functions can be combined and activated with a single button, simplifying turning maneuvers when working in the field. Each vehicle's functions can be individually activated and deactivated via a GUI, allowing for ideal adaptation to the task at hand.
The headland management system must be added to the respective vehicle in the shop or workshop as a configuration before use, costing 3000,-.
It can be activated and deactivated in the vehicle with Shift-X. Alternatively, different buttons for activation and deactivation can be configured. The GUI is accessed by default with Shift+Ctrl+X.
New: Headland Management now supports contour guidance, enabling automatic steering along the field boundary or worked area.
Important: When contour guidance is activated, do not exceed a working speed of 10 km/h to avoid oscillating steering. If this happens, briefly reduce the speed.
Included functions:
- Reduce speed (cruise control) and raise it again, reactivate cruise control if previously active
- Raise and lower implements
- Turn plough (single-stage or two-stage via center position)
- Control ridge markers
- Control crab steering
- Disengage and re-engage PTOs and hydraulics
- Beep when headland management is activated
- On/Off switch for improved road safety and accidental triggering prevention
- Automatic headland mode activation with optional return to field mode after a 180° turn
- Contour guidance for automatic control along field boundaries or processed areas
If VCA Mod (FS22_VehicleControlAddon) is present:
- Deactivate/reactivate GPS track guidance
- Disengage/re-engage differential locks
- Trigger VCA's turn function
If Guidance Steering (FS22_guidanceSteering) is present:
- Deactivate/reactivate GPS guidance
If SpeedControl (FS22_SpeedControl) is present:
- Speed adjustment via cruise control level
If EnhancedVehicle (FS22_EnhancedVehicle) is present:
- Deactivate/reactivate GPS guidance
- Disengage/re-engage differential locks
- Use EV's headland detection
