Improved Soybean Textures With Destroyable Stubble (Prefab)
This prefab includes a complete set of new soybean textures designed to be as realistic and functional as possible. Colors, leaf shapes, and ground layers are crafted in great detail and look just like real soybean fields.
What's new beyond the updated textures?
– Soybeans now grow in rows with a spacing of 30 inches (approx. 76 cm), and the plant spacing within rows also looks natural.
– The growth calendar has been completely reworked to allow double-cropping of soybeans right after winter crops like winter wheat, rapeseed, or barley. Soybeans planted in April are ready for harvest in September; planting in May or June shifts the harvest to October.
These timelines are based on the growing periods in North Alabama with its long, hot summers.
– Stubble can now be destroyed by driving over it with tires.
– Sizes and widths for each growth stage have been adjusted, and additional stages have been added.
– New distance textures for harvested fields show the typical stripe pattern often seen on combined soybean fields.
Feel free to use these textures and the XML file for your own map projects. I would really appreciate a short credit in the description if you don't mind.
