John Deere 87/8960 Edited

In real life, my dad bought a 1992 John Deere 8760 tractor in 1996 to use as his primary air seeding and ploughing tractor in Western Australia. However, after a few years, we encountered some issues. One of the main problems was poor visibility at night with the factory lights. To fix this, we installed new LED Hella spotlights and a light bar for improved visibility by the early/mid-2000s.

Recently, in 2024, we sold this tractor, which we affectionately called 'Big Green.' Since I couldn't keep a part of the real tractor as a memento, I decided to do something better—recreate Big Green's light bar in FS22.

This mod took a lot of work to get right. Siid Modding's original mod had an incorrect gearbox and sounds, which were taken from a Fendt, not a John Deere.

Here's a summary of the changes I've made:

• Replaced the incorrect Manual+Powershift gearbox with one that matches the real tractor.
• Added custom start-up and idle sounds recorded from the real 8760 in 2020.
• Added cab monitors for Precision Planting, Kinze, and Concord.
• Included BKT & Continental tire options alongside Michelin for more variety.
• Added a two-way radio and swapped the rearview mirror to match the real 8760's cab configuration.
• Front headlight options: original lights, extended lights, and LED light bar for better night visibility.
• Three engine options: 8760 (300hp), 8760 tuned (410hp), and 8960 (370hp).
