John Deere P576 & 1870 Air Hoe Drill

The John Deere P576 and 1870 are high-capacity air hoe drills designed for seeding grain, oilseeds, and fertilizer across large fields. Hydraulically supported openers maintain reliable seed placement even on rocky, rolling, or uneven ground.

The press wheels use a separate hydraulically charged accumulator. After an opener has been tripped, this immediately returns the seed boot to its working position. The result is less frame stress, reduced horsepower requirements, and more consistent seeding with less soil disturbance and better moisture retention.
