This script mod adds a dynamic lightning system to Farming Simulator that goes far beyond simple visual effects. Lightning only strikes between March and October when rain or hail is detected, preferentially targeting elevated objects such as power poles, streetlights, silos, water towers, and factories, but can also hit vehicles and trees.

When a vehicle is struck, the entire consist state is saved: engine, lights, cruise control, active work, and controller type. During the power loss, all lights are disabled and the engine is shut down. Recovery follows a controlled sequence – low beam slowly brightens, fades, brightens again, waits, and flashes before the engine restarts. Courseplay, AutoDrive, and GIANTS AI are each paused and resumed through their own routines, without mixing controller types.

When lightning hits a non-vehicle target, a power outage is triggered within a 300-metre radius. Building lights, outdoor and street lamps, advertising and information signs, LED displays, factory barriers, electric gates, and railroad crossings are deactivated. Productions and factories are stopped. Recovery timing varies by object type. BXR LED and InfoBoard panels are exempt and return after roughly 10 seconds.

The thunder system uses multiple samples with normal and muffled cabin variants, shuffled randomly. The mod also provides its own environment override with Central European-style day-night transitions, a darker night sky, stronger moonlight, and darker night cloud undersides.
