Stop scrolling through thousands of lines of your log file!
The Log Error Extractor is a script mod that captures all errors and warnings from your game and writes them into a clean, readable report (log_errors.txt) – errors and warnings only, nothing else.
What it does:
• Writes a report containing only errors and warnings, saved as log_errors.txt next to your regular log.
• Ranks mods from worst to best by unique error count, with the biggest offenders at the top.
• Reduces repeated messages: a mod spamming the same warning 500 times will appear once with a count, not as 500 lines.
• Breaks down the report mod by mod so you can see exactly what each one is producing.
• Console commands: dumpLogErrors, topLogErrors, countLogErrors, clearLogErrors.
Getting started:
1. Bind a key under Options → Controls → Protokollfehler-Extraktor.
2. Load your savegame and press the key.
3. Choose an option: Save Report, Show Worst Mods, Show Count, or Clear.
Important: Do not rename the mod folder! The name FS25_AAA_LogErrorExtractor ensures it loads first so it can capture errors from all other mods.
Notes:
• PC only – script mods are not supported on consoles.
• Single-player only for now (multiplayer is untested/unsupported).
• Errors that occur before the mod loads (base game startup, engine-level) cannot be captured – check the regular log.txt for those.
Having issues? The log_status.txt file contains a health check – please include it when reporting problems.
