Low Range Transfer Case

This mod adds a functional high/low transfer case to cars, pickups, Jeeps, and trucks. Low range provides a 4:1 gear reduction, giving your 4x4 much better slow-speed control when crawling through mud, climbing steep trails, crossing rough terrain, or navigating technical off-road sections. It is especially useful on logging maps, mountain maps, mud parks, and maps with tight trails where standard gearing feels too fast.

High range maintains the normal 1:1 ratio for everyday road driving, while low range can be engaged whenever extra control is needed off the pavement. The selected range is displayed as an H or L indicator near the speedometer and is saved with the vehicle.

Keybinds:
- Numpad 7 — Low Range (L)
- Numpad 9 — High Range (H)
These can be reassigned under Options → Controls → Vehicle → Shift Group Down / Shift Group Up.

Note: This mod only adds the transfer case range. It does not automatically add four-wheel drive or differential locks, so it works best with vehicles that already have a proper 4x4 drivetrain. Best results are achieved when combined with mods that allow selectable 4x4, diff locks, and transmission shift selection.
