Polish Political Agriculture

This mod introduces a comprehensive system of Polish subsidies, obligations, controls, administrative costs and agricultural support programmes into the simulator. Since it is a standalone version based on the Red Tape mechanic, both mods should not be used simultaneously. The core feature is an expanded farm management system: players are no longer just farming their fields, but also apply for funding, receive payments, pay contributions and taxes, and may face random inspections. Key features include: Direct payments with applications from March to May (70 % paid in December, 30 % in February), simplified support scheme for farms up to 5 ha, livestock premiums for cattle and pig farming, young farmer bonus of 200,000 PLN (300,000 PLN for livestock production), farm modernisation grants for machinery and buildings up to 500,000 PLN, partial clawback when selling subsidised equipment, agricultural fuel tax refunds, crop insurance with random events such as drought, hail, frost and flooding, preferential loans with interest reimbursements, annual agricultural tax, quarterly operating contributions based on area and livestock numbers, as well as administrative and veterinary inspections with penalties. Animal husbandry is also greatly expanded with a biosecurity and veterinary system, disease costs, breeding premiums and a deep bedding system that grants monthly payments when straw coverage is at least 25 %. Environmental restrictions, such as the ban on slurry application from November to February, force players to plan storage and fertilisation ahead.
