The PTH ABR 600 is an innovative additional brake for tractors, designed to be coupled to the front hydraulics like a standard device without any modifications. At its core, it features a magnetic retarder that operates without auxiliary energy. The braking force is managed through a double-acting control unit, effectively reducing engine speed via the PTO shaft and braking the tractor combination. This system helps protect the service brake on long descents and gently manages high-revving engines.
