Realistic Fog Events

Realistic Fog Events adds dynamic, weather-aware fog events to your game. Every morning, the mod evaluates the current season, ground wetness, temperature, wind, and time of day to create natural-looking morning fog – most commonly during spring and autumn. Fog gradually forms before sunrise, lingers through the morning, and naturally burns away on its own.

Choose between three profiles: light, moderate, or dense fog. An in-game menu (default: Right Alt + 4) lets you trigger, adjust, or end a fog event at any time. Once an event ends, the mod returns full control to your map and automatically disables itself if it detects a conflict with another fog or weather mod.
