Enhance your farming experience with the Realistic Soil & Fertilizer Mod! This mod adds depth to your farming operations without overwhelming complexity. Each field has unique soil health metrics—nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, organic matter, and pH—that change based on your farming activities and weather conditions. Manage your soil well for efficient farming, or face reduced yields.

Soil Nutrients:

• Nitrogen (N): Depletes heavily from crops like corn and canola.
• Phosphorus (P): Depletes slowly, crucial for root crops.
• Potassium (K): Lost in large quantities during high-yield harvests, especially potatoes and sugar beets.
• Organic Matter (OM): Improves long-term fertility; enhanced by manure, compost, and chopped straw.
• pH: Affects nutrient absorption; adjusted with lime and gypsum.

Different crops extract varying nutrient amounts. Fallow fields recover over time, and legumes provide a nitrogen bonus.

Fertilizer Types:

The mod supports all base game and common mod fertilizer types:

• Synthetic: Liquid Fertilizer, Solid Fertilizer, Digestate, UAN28/UAN32, Anhydrous Ammonia, AMS/Urea, Starter Fertilizer, MAP/DAP, Potash.
• Organic: Manure, Slurry, Compost, Biosolids, Chicken Manure, Pelletized Manure.
• pH Management: Lime, Liquid Lime, Gypsum.
• Crop Protection: Insecticide, Fungicide.

Each type has realistic nutrient profiles with appropriate application rates in metric or imperial units.

Sprayer Rate Control:

• Adjust fertilizer application on the fly with Rate Up/Down keybindings.
• 20 stepped rate multipliers from 0.10x to 2.00x.
• Over-application risks: Exceeding 1.25x risks pH and nitrogen burn; 1.50x guarantees burn.
• Auto-Rate mode adjusts application based on field depletion.
