Renault K480 with Meiller Tipper – Performance Upgrade

This performance upgrade enhances the Renault K480 with Meiller tipper for greater power, capacity, and efficiency when hauling heavy loads.

• Performance: Engine output increases from 660 to 900 hp, top speed from 90 to 120 km/h, and reverse speed from 15 to 25 km/h.
• Torque and braking: Torque is increased from 2,394 to 3,500 Nm, allowing the vehicle to handle a 35-ton load with ease. Brake force rises from 7 to 10 for safer stopping under full load.
• Economy and handling: The fuel tank grows from 400 to 650 L, the DEF tank from 60 to 80 L, and fuel consumption drops from 150 to 130 L/h. Air delivery increases from 350 to 400 L/s, while gear changes are reduced from 0.20 to 0.15 seconds.
• Capacity: The tipper body now holds 35,000 L instead of 20,000 L for larger transport loads per trip.
