Seasonal Crop Stress

Transform your FS25 farm's appearance with the Seasonal Crop Stress mod. Experience real soil moisture physics where heat evaporates moisture and rain replenishes it. Sandy soil drains quickly, while clay retains moisture longer. If moisture levels drop below critical thresholds during key growth phases like wheat heading or corn pollination, your crops will experience stress, reducing yield. Install a center-pivot irrigator, schedule its operation, and safeguard your crops.

Quick Start Guide:

1. Load your farm to activate moisture monitoring immediately.
2. Press Shift+M to open the Field Moisture HUD.
3. Click a field to view its 5-day moisture forecast strip.
4. Press Shift+C to access the Crop Consultant for a risk summary.
5. Indicators: Green = healthy, Yellow = needs attention, Red = irrigate NOW.
6. Place a Water Pump near a water source, then a Center Pivot within 500m.
7. Press E near the pivot (or Shift+I) to set your irrigation schedule.
8. Plan ahead: drought-stressed fields yield less at harvest.

Ensure your fields are watered to prevent harvest loss.
