Swath Router

A hired helper bales or picks up with a forage wagon by driving along the swaths themselves instead of following a generated course.

When it starts, the helper scans the field for swaths and plans a route over them, starting with the nearest ones. It follows each swath as it lies - straight, curved, at any angle, or round and round where the field was cut in rounds - and only turns where a swath ends. Once the route is complete, it scans the field again and continues until there is nothing left to pick up.

This mod works with straw, hay, and grass swaths, using both round and square balers as well as forage wagons. It is designed for field work only and is single-player only. If a game is saved in the middle of a job, it will resume that job when loaded.

The route taken is not always the shortest, and a little straw may be left for the next pass.

Additionally, for every helper, square balers will no longer slow down to a crawl before each bale. Round balers remain unchanged.

Hotkeys: none. Simply hitch a baler or a forage wagon and hire a helper for field work as usual.
