Welcome...

...high up in the Tiroler Weißenbachtal, to a mountain farm at 1,607 m above sea level, right in the middle of the North Tyrolean Alps.

This map is based on real terrain and actual elevation data from the Weißenbachtal in my homeland. The buildings and farms were inspired by various Tyrolean valleys and are entirely fictional.

The map features two mountain farms: The large Obertalerhof offers stalls for cows as well as goats and sheep, several shelters, a hay barn and a modern hay drying system with a hay crane. The Oberhaberlhof is a small timber operation with its own sawmill and a chicken coop.

You will also find a dairy as a selling point for milk, an Alpine inn with an adjacent shop serving as an additional collection point, and a small dealer to expand your equipment.

The stalls are already populated with animals, and a small livestock dealer is available for buying and selling. Wood and wood chips can be traded at a dedicated dealer.

Steep meadows are part of everyday life here – you'll need the right machinery and some courage to get your hay in safely. The region is pure grassland farming due to the altitude. Nevertheless, a field has been included so you can try your luck with crops.

Besides hay harvesting, forestry plays an important role – a large portion of the map consists of challenging and diverse forest areas.

Highlights:
– Real terrain based on elevation data from Tyrol
– Greatly enhanced terrain scaling for a true mountain landscape
– Mountain farm with cow, goat and sheep barns
– Dedicated hay crane and modern hay drying system
– Grassland farming with steep meadows
– Forestry with diverse woodland areas
– Custom buildings and decorative objects such as avalanche barriers
– Seasonal objects like snow poles
– Mountain stream with flowmap
– Custom tree species like Latschen pines
– Improved foliage and accurate scaling of mown grass
– Adapted feed system and climate (snow possible in spring and autumn)
– Adapted map lighting and crop types for high altitude
– Custom license plates suited for Austria and Tyrol

Thanks to the contributors for the prefabs. Have a great time!
