To Pasture and Back

This mod lets you send animals from barns without an attached pasture to suitable fields and meadows where they can graze, root, and roam freely. Cows and horses graze on grass, sheep and goats feed on rougher pasture, and pigs root around on mowed fields and stubble fields. Fields with growing crops are rejected by the animals.

While the herd is out on the pasture, only the youngest animals stay behind in the barn. Feeding, breeding, and production continue normally in the barn – the mod only affects the visual behavior and does not interfere with your farm's economy.
