True Value Pricing Mod

Mod shops can be chaotic: one author sells a 200hp tractor for $4,000, while another charges a fortune for a plough, and a cheat pack undercuts them all. True Value re-prices every item in the shop based on a curve calibrated to the base game, ensuring that prices reflect capability and that buying decisions matter again.

Other rebalancers provide a handmade list, covering only the mods the author happened to own. True Value does not rely on this; it reads each machine's real stats live from the game - the same numbers displayed on the shop card, ensuring configurations and mis-authored specs are resolved correctly - and fits them to the base-game curve: tractors and harvesters by power, trailers by capacity, storage by volume, and everything else by weight. It prices ANY mod, including those released long after this one. No scanning, no database, nothing to maintain.

- Preset: Realist, Cheaper, Harsh, Keep-character, Tame-cheats, Flat, or Off.
- Overall price level - your economy difficulty dial.
- Consistency - keep the modder's price, or pull everything to base-game-fair.
- Spread, and a Cheat-limiter to rein in outliers.
- Vintage discount - graduated, so a 60hp classic barely moves but a 20hp toy drops significantly.
- Cheat configs - a vehicle with both a normal AND a cheat config is priced based on its standard one.
- Reprices the second-hand lot as well.
- Built-in shop sorter: price / hp / weight / A-Z (no sorting mod needed).
Runtime and fully reversible - prices are never written to your savegame. A default install changes nothing until you pick a preset.
