description

A large grid rover with piston and rotor automatic drill extending up to 40m. Designed to harvest large amounts of ice on planets, but can easily be used to mine ore deposits as deep as 40m. Capable of producing gas and components, but not ingots.

Survival ready and 100% vanilla!

Features:

3 Large Cargo Containers

2 Large Hydrogen Tanks

3 H2\O2 Generators

3 Connectors for easy access/small grid carriage

2 Landing pads for carrying even more small grids

Powered by 12 batteries, rechargeable and power-saving

3 Turrets for defending against minor threats

8 wheel stable chassis for massive weight

9 drill (can be reduced to 5 and have same radius if server limit) piston\rotor miner with 25 meter diameter (10 blocksx2.5m)

Emergency large hydrogen thruster for steep hills

Control Room with Respawn point and easy cargo access

2 Gyroscopes

...And more!

Instructions:

-Do not store ores in the drill blocks when moving fast, this may cause grid to become fragile

-Adjust wheels to your planet/moon for best performance, wheels are set for maximum sturdiness

-Drill set up to build on survival projections:

| | - piston

| | - piston

| | - piston

| | - piston(optional) \ or conveyor block(optional)

┴ - advanced rotor

xxxxxxxxx - 9 drills in a line \ or 5 drills in a line from 1 side only (L shape)

The rotor RPM should be set to (0.99) and piston extend speed to (0.01up to0.02) for safe automatic extraction

The grid will be more stable if you reduce rotor torque to about 2 Mn
