ISL - Medium Survival Trailer

DISCLAIMER: These ships/rovers are designed for PC, with scripts. they will work without them, but some functionality (eg. advanced wheel control, automated mining and shuttle routes, etc.) and fancy LCD readouts will be missing.

Purpose

The MST is a variant of the Medium Cargo Trailer that swaps some storage space for a survival kit, allowing for suit recharge, gas refill, first aid and stone processing. It also swaps the ejection system from stone to gravel.

Also equipped with a cryo chamber, solar panel and hydrogen system for long trips.

There are hinges at the front and rear that function as tow hitches, allowing connections to either trucks or other trailers. As this is not designed as an autonomous vehicle, each trailer is controlled primarily through the use of labeled buttons, although an RC block is still present. Check the "Movement & Control" section for a list of the buttons and their functions.

The trailer is designed for use with the ISL - Lakan RC-630a or RC-700b Medium Truck. The tow hitch is compatible with the other vehicles listed below, however they may struggle to move it with a full cargo.

This trailer is still considered "printable" although the addition of a single hinge head block is required after printing, as seen in the screenshots.

The buttons and timer blocks found on this trailer, and their functions, are as follows:

1. Pack - Trigger TB Pack
2. Unpack - Trigger TB Unpack
3. Attach - Attach hinge head to rear mounted hinge base (tow hitch)
4. Detach - Detach hinge head to rear mounted hinge base (tow hitch)
5. Connectors Switchlock - directly below the rear connector
6. TB Pack - Front Hinge Unlock, Handbrake Off, Lights On, Ejection System Off
7. TB Unpack - Front Hinge Lock, Handbrake On, Lights Off,
8. Lower Suspension - lower wheel suspension strength
9. Raise suspension - raise wheel suspension strength (used to either change the height of the trailer when parked, or to adjust suspension according to cargo load).
10. Ejection system On/Off - toggles the gravel ejection system, located in the rear, either side of the connector

Default setting is "Unpacked" in this blueprint (handbrake is on and front hinge is locked).

This trailer has an empty mass of 20840 kgs.

All ships, vehicles & trailers in this set have a rear mounted Merge block and can be printed using a welder wall with one (large grid) piston. However in this case the merge block is designed to be ground down after printing, all blocks that require removal are painted bright red.
