Variable Working Depth: The implement works exactly as deep as you lower it

Lowering the disc harrow and the field always looks the same – no matter how deep the discs are set? No real implement works like that. This mod introduces what truly determines fieldwork: working depth. Lower the implement slightly to create a seedbed; fully engage it into the ground to break the soil like a plow.

WORKS WITH ANY DISC HARROW AND ANY CULTIVATOR

This is not a new implement, but a system that works with all disc harrows and cultivators – both from the base game and mods.
No XML changes or purchases in the shop are required. Just attach your existing implement, and it works.

After installing the mod, nothing changes at first: the default position of each implement behaves exactly as in the original game. Only when you adjust the target value for working depth does the system begin to regulate the depth.

DEPTH DETERMINES THE TYPE OF WORK

Set the working depth target value from 0 to 100% using Ctrl + Num Plus / Minus.

Shallow: Seedbed preparation – the typical task of a disc harrow.
Medium: Soil cultivation – comparable to the work of a cultivator or a heavy disc harrow.
Deep: Plowing or deep loosening (if you prefer the more realistic option for a disc harrow: Console: `vwdSet deepMode subsoiler`).

At a target value of 0%, the discs barely touch the ground and perform no soil work: “Lowered” does not necessarily mean “in work”.

A hysteresis is used when switching working modes to prevent the system from jumping between states when driving over uneven terrain.

REAL MECHANICS, NOT JUST ANIMATION

Implements with support wheels: The depth control wheels move relative to the frame, and the frame actually lowers – just like a real X-disc harrow.

Implements without support wheels: The height of the three-point hitch is adjusted, and the suspension is rigidly fixed in height.

The control mode is automatically selected for each implement based on its design.

The drawbar requirement scales with working depth: the deeper you work, the more power the tractor needs, resulting in higher consumption and lower speed. With a lower target value, you save energy.

When adjusting the working depth, the sound of the hydraulic cylinders can be heard.

AI helpers and Courseplay continue to lower, raise, and operate the implement as usual.

ON-BOARD TERMINAL IN YOUR TRACTOR'S DESIGN

A screen terminal modeled after the on-board computer of a real tractor.

It automatically adopts the colors and original logo of the tractor brand to which the implement is attached: John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, Fendt, Claas, Massey Ferguson, Valtra, Deutz-Fahr, Kubota, Challenger, Steyr. Other brands use a general color scheme with their own logo.

Displays:

* Working depth in centimeters
* Operating mode
* Target value bar with factory setting
* Adjustment in cm relative to the factory setting
* Control mode
* Status LED (raised / position / in work)
* Draw resistance

The terminal can be enlarged, minimized to one line, or hidden (Ctrl + Num Multiplication).

With Ctrl + Num Division, the cursor appears, allowing you to use the − / + keys, fine-tune the setting with the mouse wheel, and move the terminal to any position.

Click on the logo to manually select the tractor brand.

Position and status are saved across game sessions.

Pure technical information without unnecessary data: exactly what you would see in the cabin of a real machine.
