"Antares" Class Heavy Cruiser

Ship's backstory:

The Antares Class Heavy Cruiser was introduced in 2072 during the Procyon Crisis. The I.M.D.C. Corporation was accused of establishing an illegal blockade by the Procyon Ice Association because the terms of their contract stated that no IMDC Ship would block any ice coming from Procyon. The I.M.D.C. Corporation protested these accusations, stating that the ships blocking Procyon were not acting under their orders. The United Nations of Earth, including the Mars Provisional Government, and many other factions believed the IMDC was guilty which only heightened the growing dispute. As a result, heavy sanctions were imposed on I.M.D.C. and demands were made to remove the Blockade. However, there was nothing I.M.D.C. could do as they stated. Behind the scenes, an I.M.D.C. Cruiser called the Persephone was in fact blocking Procyon Three's moon which was the supplier of ice for many human colonies and orbital habitats. The Persephone's Captain, Sheila Isely, was hoping to lure out a particular officer of the G.D.F. she had a crush on. She was known for being a crazy woman, but her crew had no choice but to obey her since she threatened to kill anyone who disagreed with her. The Galactic Defense Force (an International Multi-planetary Organization) had just completed their work on the first Antares Class Prototype, and Captain Sean Kennedy was selected to command the vessel.

When Captain Sean Kennedy arrived at Procyon, he was intercepted by the Persephone. Captain Sheila Isley invited Captain Kennedy aboard for negotiations, but it didn't take long for Captain Sean Kennedy to realize it was a trap. After failed negotiations, Captain Sheila Isley locks Captain Sean Kennedy in her quarters. Captain Sean Kennedy even described Captain Sheila Isley as a "yandere". After seven days in her clutches, Captain Sean Kennedy was given a choice... join Captain Isley and become her husband, or everyone on the Antares would die.

Thankfully for Sean Kennedy, Captain Sheila Isley's first mate, Leo Chen, betrayed his commanding officer and set Captain Sean Kennedy free. Sadly, Commander Leo Chen was killed as punishment for his act of mutiny. Captain Sean Kennedy takes the Antares back to G.D.F. headquarters, where he is joined by the "Juno" a Destroyer commanded by Edmund Perkins. Together, the two ships liberated Procyon, and Captain Sheila Isley was arrested. Taken back to Earth for trial, Captain Sheila Isley was sentenced to life in prison on Mars. As for I.M.D.C. they were forced to pay a hefty amount of credits to pay for the damage done to the Procyon Mining Operation, and for those who were lost in the conflict.
