ISL - Nurina RO-34 Forklift

DISCLAIMER: These ships/rovers are designed for PC, with scripts. they will work without them, but some functionality (eg. advanced wheel control, automated mining and shuttle routes, etc.) and fancy LCD readouts will be missing. However none of the sub-grids on this design need scripts.

Purpose

A small vehicle equipped with a piston and landing gear lift, overridden gyroscopes for counterweight, and a stabilising landing gear on a hinge.

Features

Alternate Turning Mode - Toolbar 4
For turning in tight spaces, there is an alternate steering mode (use Toolbar 4, Button 8 to toggle). This alternate mode reverses the propulsion and steering on the left side wheels, once activated, hold steering to the left (the wheels should turn to make a circle) and tap forward or back to turn almost on the spot.

Tow Hitch & Piston winch - Toolbars 3 & 5
The Forward facing piston is a winch, designed to attach to the rear of any of the ISL trucks or trailers.

However the vehicle will struggle with the Medium Cargo Trailer or Medium survival trailer if their containers are loaded.

Landing Gear Stabilizer & Gyro Counterweight - Toolbar 4
If movement isn't required, only lifting, the Nurnia is able to anchor itself using a landing gear on a hinge (mounted on the right side). Or for moving with heavy loads, there are 6 overridden gyroscopes.

Printable
This vehicle is still considered "printable," as there are only 3 sub-grids; one Landing gear, one hinge head, and the crane head, which will be printed along with the vehicle.

After printing, using a set up such as this one, place and weld up the landing gear as shown in the screenshot, then add it to the "Nrn1-R Landing Gear Stabiliser" group for the toolbar button to function.

Also place and weld up the hinge head onto the head of the forward facing piston, in the orientation shown in the screenshot.

To attach the crane head to the piston, follow along with the screenshots:
1. remove the head from the rotor.
2. place it on to the piston head and weld it up.
3. grind down the light armour blocks painted red to detach the crane head (starting from the top)
4. Press the button on the rotor to attach it to the piston. Set up Complete.

This ship has an empty mass of 14684 kgs.

All toolbars are the same from the cockpit and remote control.

All ships, vehicles & trailers in this set have a rear mounted Merge block and can be printed using a welder wall with one (large grid) piston. However in this case the merge block is designed to be ground down after printing, all blocks that require removal are painted bright red.
