LAM Griffin Heavy Frigate MK3fB

A heavily modified version of LAM’s more traditional Gorgon class Griffin heavy frigate, the “Basilisk” or MK3FB Griffin variant is part of the LAM “Wolves of Sparta” task fleet, Sparta is one of LAM’s most important ship yards within the Wolves Den, as they are at the forefront of military technology for LAM, Basilisk class Griffins have had their auto cannon turrets replaced with new “Tempest” class Railgun turrets and each ship has a pair of short barreled MAC guns mounted in the bow, these new ships have been specifically designed for multi purpose use, having one ”Rarden”, “Starstreak” and “Goalkeeper” Warfare class turret each, rather then multiples of the same type like her original sister ships, allowing these ships immense versatility in any situation, and allowing them to engage threats at any distance on their terms, having gone through some initial testing, all current Basilisk class Griffins are having their MAC guns removed as well as the Rarden class turret, in place of another Goalkeeper and a brand new AHC-221 auto loading heavy cannon as its new main armament
