LAM Griffin Heavy Frigate MK3fH

The workhorse heavy frigate of Lupus Arms Manufacturers (LAM) fleet arm, Griffin heavy frigates are a testament to LAM’s resourcefulness and ingenuity, every one of the Griffin class frigates is able to punch well above their respective class and then some, being in one of the most dangerous regions of space know as the “Wolves Den”, LAM needed a powerful and reliable main combat ship that was easy to construct to combat the ever growing pirate organizations, armed with a hefty selection of weapons and enough armor to withstand more than it’s fair share of damage, Griffin frigates are more than capable of engaging enemies twice their size if the situation calls for it, however they normally operate in “Packs”, having several Griffin groups work in tandem to defeat their more numerous opponents, several new types of Griffins base off of the base “Hydra” have been deployed since, the mid range Gorgon and fleet utility Titan class, any further research and development has been indefinitely halted to provide more manpower, resources and time management to Sparta’s newly approved combat expeditionary fleet, the “Wolves of Sparta”
