The workhorse heavy frigate of Lupus Arms Manufacturers or LAM fleet arm, Griffin heavy frigates are a testament to LAM’s resourcefulness and ingenuity, every one of the Griffin class frigates is able to punch well above their respective class and then some, being in one of the most dangerous regions of space know as the “Wolves Den”, LAM needed a powerful and reliable main combat ship that was easy to construct to combat the ever growing pirate organizations, armed with a hefty selection of weapons and enough armor to withstand larger ships, Griffin frigates are more than capable of engaging enemies head on if the situation calls for it, they normally operate in “Packs” however, having several Griffins work in tandem to defeat their more numerous opponents, several types of Griffins have also been deployed over the years, the mid range Gorgon, fleet utility Titan and the newest addition, Basilisk, made specifically for LAM’s Wolves of Sparta expeditionary fleet
