LAM Manticore Combat Cruiser A

The flagship of LAM’s “Wolves of Sparta” task fleet, “Ares” is a modified version of an LAM Manticore class cruiser, removing her original Oerlikon and Starstreak turrets, as well as some of her 43mm auto cannons and replacing them with more Rarden class turrets and the new Tempest Railguns while also installing a MKV MAC and being able to keep a pair of 1500 Lance cannons respectively, in order to store additional power modules and a extra pair of Jump Drives however LAM decided to remove the pair of Torch Droves just behind the 400’s, but now without good reason, as “Ares” has been fitted with 2 brand new “Mjölnir” heavy Railgun turrets, these gun can punch through practically anything, and has considerably more range than any conventional weapons used within the Wolves Den, in addition to this the “Ares” has also had all of its original 150mm artillery guns replaced with the newer, longer range C-170 turrets, while at it, “Ares” has had its smaller turrets rearranged, allowing for far better fire coverage on all accounts
